Dan is the owner/founder of March Training Group LLC. His passion for shooting sports began in graduate school where he joined the university rifle and pistol club. Most of his initial training focused on bullseye style pistol shooting, but once he discovered the wonders of action shooting sports through local IDPA matches, he was hooked. After a brief hiatus to finish his studies and move to New Jersey, he found a similar action shooting sport, USPSA, and has been competing regularly for the last 9 years. He has attained the rank of A Class in multiple pistol divisions (Production, Carry Optics and Open), was certified as a USPSA Range Officer in 2017, and helps run the local club matches at Shongum Sportsmen’s Association. If you had your first USPSA match at the club, Dan may have run your new shooter introduction.
Dan’s passion for teaching/training/mentoring has been evident since high school. Whether it was as a tutor, assistant martial arts instructor, chemistry laboratory teaching assistant, or soccer coach, Dan has always enjoyed helping people learn, improve, and expand their potential with patience and encouragement. Dan founded March Training Group LLC to exercise his passion for educating people in the shooting sports.
